There are two ways of getting onto the August 11th Democratic Primary Ballot.
1. Receiving 15% of the delegates sent to the Congressional District Convention held in Mid-May. The Democratic Town Committee (DTC) Chairpeople have wide discretion on who to send as delegates and will most likely send Rosa DeLauro loyalists.
2. Collecting signatures from 2% of registered Democrats in the district in the 42 day window after the convention is held. Every signature will be challenged, so realistically the campaign should have 5,500 signatures to be safe.
If we can collect names of people who are willing to sign the petition when the petition period opens, it will make it more likely to gain ballot access!
NOTICE: ONLY REGISTERED DEMOCRATS CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE PRIMARY AND SIGN THE PETITION!
THIS IS NOT A COMMITMENT TO VOTE FOR ME IN THE PRIMARY, IT JUST INCREASES THE ODDS OF GAINING BALLOT ACCESS!
